Randolph Avenue House
In 2006 our first project was to fully refurbish a substantial Victorian house in London’s Maida Vaile area. The owners brief was to create a comfortable family home but also aimed at entertaining and accommodating guest. The entire house was gutted and new services were installed throughout. On the raised ground floor we created a music/cinema room with turntables, top of the range sound system and plasma screen. We designed and manufactured a white leather sofa seating up to 10 people with storage below housing a vast collection CD’s and DVD’s.
The property boosts plenty of character which needed restoring. Generally the internal layout was maintained but the first floor was reconfigured to create a master bedroom and bathroom/ dressing space. The bathroom was tiled in large basalt slab including a fully open walk-in shower. The pallet of materials includes a stunning reclaimed Wenge parquet floor, fumed solid oak boards, basalt stone, oak and walnut furniture.
Over the years we have been asked to design a number of bespoke furniture items for the same client. Each time we have worked closely with the client on their brief in order to create beautifully crafted, unique pieces of that work well for them.
